I spent naptime on Monday and Tuesday completely de-cluttering a small section of counter space. Holy smokes we have a TON of paper. It was the kick-in-the-pants I desperately needed to convert all of our bills to paperless. Now, I'm living the in 21st century... a bill arrives in my mailbox (which I check on my blackberry), I pop over to our bank's website to pay the bill and I'm done! Computer time has been easier to come by while I'm on vacation, but is harder to manage while I'm working. That blackberry I got in May seemed indulgent at first, but has really paid off in terms of streamlining my workload at home.
The other thing I have done to simplify is to decrease the number of blogs I have in my google reader. I knew something had to give when I started feeling guilty about "marking all as read." Guilt? Not necessary! I got rid of a number of blogs that I enjoy reading, but don't specifically enourage me as a wife, mother, or co-manager of our home.

We LOVE our bill pay. The automatic payments make it so simple for our bills that are the same every month (like mortgage). Reducing the paper clutter (and shredding) is a really nice bonus too!
