That's what our 80+ year old neighbor said when Jon told him that my mom has cancer. It pretty much gets right to the point, doesn't it?

After healing from her illness in August, my mom was continuing to have abdominal pain. GI testing on October 15th revealed a tumor that hadn't been visualized on 5(!) previous CT scans. On October 25th, she had exploratory surgery to see if it was resectable (it wasn't). The tumor is large and had adheared to nearby organs but there was no sign of metastisis. She's at home now, recovering from surgery and preparing for the chemo and radiation tx that will begin next Monday.
